HELP!!!!!!!!!
Well, I have my new monitor running, but there's a problem... I installed the monitor printer drivers like it said, and restarted my computer. Now, it's got a problem.

When I turn it on, it goes through the usually start up stuff. When I select my profile, and it goes to the desktop with the icons, I get an error message that repeats, saying:

Data Execution Prevention - Microsoft Windows

To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program.
Name: Generic Host Process for Win32 Service
Publisher: Microsoft Corporation

And it wants me to send an error report - if I do, it does it over & over again. If I hit "don't send", then it shuts off. But then I got this other error message...

svchost.exe Application Error

The instruction at "0x009996bc" refeenced a memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program.
Click on CANCE to debug the program.

Clicking on either one doesn't really do anything, but make it go away for a few. Then it comes back again.

Can anyone give me any advice?

Thanks for the link. It's basically telling me to change settings on my computer I don't have access to, so I probably will have to call in a professional.

Or, more likely... just continue to use it until something horrible happens. Because I'm nothing if not lazy... and it seems to be working OK.

Update drivers

See if there are updates to the drivers (you mentioned both printer and monitor in your post) on the manufacture's web site. I've seen this error with HP printers and was able to fix the problem when I updated the printer drivers and software.
