Another great one in the series, and the erotica starts getting heavy at the very end.

Now we're getting into it a bit more crazily, with a lot more powers and abilities surfacing. Oh, and more sexual situations, by far.

Woo! The Killing Dance. My favourite of the novels, if only because of the hot sex between Jean-Claude and Anita that I'd been waiting for since book one. I can't stand Richard. Hate him. HATE.

I liked Burnt Offerings as well (at least, if it's the plot I'm thinking of.) After that, it starts to go verrrrry downhill.

Have you met Nathaniel yet? I like Nathaniel.

Yes, I met Nathaniel. He's the one that is described as a "pet", right? Long, waist-length hair, with a combination of looks that manages to be childlike, catlike, yet still masculine? Or am I thinking of the wrong one?

And why do you hate Richard? Because he is unable to deal with Anita & Jean-Claude, or because he's unable to accept his beast? Or is it something else?

I'm on to the next one, but I've liked them up to now!

Yeah, Nathaniel was abused and is very submissive. I'm not quite sure why I like him... I think it's more that I like what he could be/could have been in the series.

Richard is like Mikey -- he's so entirely focused on himself! It's all me-me-me.

Interesting side note: Apparently Richard was based on Laurell Hamilton's husband. Which is kind of interesting... as you'll see as you keep reading. ;)
