What I've Said Those Close to Me Pick a Day, Any Day All About Me QaF Vault - great fanfic! In Days of Yore In Days of Yore On to the Future On to the Future
#16-20 - Happy's Obsession
or what I do between bouts of Real Life
16.) Cerulean Sins (Anita Blake, Book 11), by Laurell K Hamilton, 405 pgs
Review: Well, at this point, Anita's doing about everyone. No, not really, but she seriously is having more sex than I ever thought, even with Jason, who was always like an annoying little brother. And not just the ardeur kind of metaphysical sex, but the whole penetrative kind.

Having Belle Morte come to the party, or the part of her that is in Musette, added a great bit of drama to the story. Anita just keeps finding more and more powers... almost to the point of being overkill.

17.) Incubus Dreams (Anita Blake, Book 12), by Laurell K. Hamilton, 658 pgs
Anita struggles with the ardeur, and the drain it puts on Damian when it is not fed. A serial killer vampire group is on the loose, and Anita is hot on their trail. She also discovers new powers. Malcolm's dangerous twist on binding vampires to their masters could be a risk to everyone. Anita and Richard come to an understanding, opening up the way for even greater triumvirate powers.

I'm trying not to give things away for those who want to read it, but all in all, it was great.

18.) Micah (Anita Blake, Book 13), by Laurell K Hamilton, 280 pgs
Another trip, this time a novella where Micah & Anita go off without any of her other lovers present. A good, fast read.

19.) Shooting War, by Anthony Lappe, 192 pgs
This is an amazing graphic novel, an eerie near-future tale that rings of scary prescience. I would highly recommend it to everyone, but it's not for kids. Violence, language, and nudity warnings.

20.) In the Forests of the Night, by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, 147 pgs
Amazingly, this story was written by a 14 year old. Very well written, although the plot sometimes seems a little meandering, and I'm not sure why some of the characters are there. But still, a good, quick read.
