What I've Said Those Close to Me Pick a Day, Any Day All About Me QaF Vault - great fanfic! In Days of Yore In Days of Yore On to the Future On to the Future
Happy's Obsession
or what I do between bouts of Real Life
OMG, I *literally* feel sick...
I have recently (the last couple of months) been diving *way deep* into Adam Lambert.

Wait... that doesn't sound right.    Like a lot of fun?  Of course... but not right.

I've been to his website, and watched vids of his concerts.  And eagerly awaited his visit to the Puyallup Fair in September - the last stop on his tour.  Going down the rabbit hole, the first time since QaF.  I have been listening to his album with (for some, not me) nauseating frequency, reading fanfic, and generally getting all fangirly.

But obviously not enough.

Because I just went to his website... AND FOUND OUT THAT HE IS PLAYING AT THE SHOWBOX IN SEATTLE IN ONE WEEK!!!!!  7 DAYS!!!!!  AND I DON'T HAVE TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of freaking idiot am I that I didn't check out all his tour dates, "just for curiosity?"  I mean, there are a zillion of them, and I just thought he was doing a kind of cross country weave, starting in the Southeast and ending in the Pacific NW.

BUT NO!!!!   HE'S GOING TO BE HERE IN A WEEK!!!!!  And did I mention... I DON'T HAVE TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In retrospect, it's probably better, as I have a dear friend coming out the next night for a visit, and I know, I KNOW, that I would not have been ready to go if I had an ADAM LAMBERT GLAM NATION CONCERT!!!!  the night before.

But that doesn't make me any less distraught at missing out.

check stubhub hun, the prices usually drop a day before the concert. also check twitter, there's usually people trying to sell off their spare tickets last minute, (sometimes they just give it away for free instead of letting it go to waste). Good luck!

Lady, I can't say squat to you about the fangirl thing. I have been GEEKING OUT on Supernatural for the past three months. Fanfic, slash, YouTube of interviews, massive episode viewings. Thank god my husband likes the show too (something about hair rock and massive, black muscle cars – which we both love). *grin*

You're lucky! It would be nice to share it with K, but... no such luck. Although that might be a *little* much to ask, right?

Hey sis, what was the yellow car that you had in high school? We've been 'looking' at project muscle cars (for that 'someday' when we have the money for one) and I can't remeber what it was that you had.

It was a '69 Camaro, with a 350 V8. Automatic. But that was right after high school.

In high school, I had a yellow '71 Gremlin, 3 speed on the tree, broken "automatic" choke, that needed a valve job bad. Sounded like 100 senoritas dancing on a tin roof when I drove that car.
